They also published scurrilous rumors about Lara Logan after her outspoken comments about the quality of Iraq War coverage in the US media. Edwards and Logan are people in the public eye, but they are not the sort of household names whose names on the cover sell papers, so it looks like some kind of vendetta is at work here.
