after "absolutely not" allowing a brief colloquey by an R.

"There have been moments of disagreement" Mukasey = not evidence of broken system, evidence of genius of the system LOL

3. Rep. Jerry Nalder has the first set of questions. Torture!!
Nadler: Have you or anyone in the Dept. investigated interrogations before the Yoo memo?

Mukasey: I do not know!!

Nadler: Why can't we get the unclassified opinions?

Mukasey: Deliberative privilege.

Nadler: Are you asserting a new privilege?

Mukasey: One of the kinds of privilege we have.

16.  I do all the time. It is a common streaming format.
It is also a proprietary file format, so they have had an advantage in making users use their viewer.

18. Well, it was common in 1995.
Not so much today. It's a horrible and obsolete product and format.

They don't make a player for my OS (XP64), but even if they did it would just be annoying ad-ware.

10. IMHO, that gives Mukasey
the green light to lie with impunity. Serious oversight, I don't think so.

13. Not so. Lying to Congress is a felony.
There is never a need to swear in a witness to Congress. It is more a formality and allows prosecution for perjury instead of lying to Congress.

35. Reagan judge rises to top of US Court in NYC, involved in early anti-terror
rulings, like approving use of evidence obtained by torture.
Lawyers in the So NY USA offices also moved to DC to the White House legal staff when they needed more attorneys for Dem oversight.
So NY is the USA office that handles lots of SEC matters, lots of corporate crime, things like letting Rs off easy.
