Robert Novak's Claim Not To Have Known He Hit Pedestrian Disputed
FOX News contributor Robert Novak was cited by police after he hit a pedestrian early today. As Think Progress reported, Novak initially drove away from the scene. claiming he did not know he had hit someone, but turned back after a bicyclist stopped him and told him. The bicyclist disputed Novak's claim of ignorance and told a local ABC affiliate that the pedestrian had been splayed across Novak's windshield.

1. Probably a good defense. The court will take judicial notice that his head is always up his ass.
Therefore, he couldn't see the pedestrian from his vantage point.

3. Arrest? A Republican? For a trivial offense like hit-and-run or vehicular assault?
It's not like he gave away any national security secrets or jeopardized a CIA operation investigating Iran's nuclear program or anything, at least not this time.

:puke: (I hate thinking that way ... but I do, sadly.)

It wasn't long after it happened that she was diagnosed as having Alzheimer's.

He was cited by police under Homeland Security as "failure to yield"? Should have included "reckless driving" & "hit & run".

19. I just heard a byte from witness Bono on ABC Radio News ...

Bono said he saw Novak make a right turn. At that point the victim rolled off the hood over the cars left fender. There's no fuggen way Novak could not have seen that if the victim was rolling off the car just one foot in front of his face.

Novak is in a world of shit. No doubt about it.

And I couldn't be any happier.

28. Nothing new on this??? He's going to get away????
But even if he does, the look on his face in the news reports it PRICELESS.

You can tell he is lying.

He has the look of a kid caught sniffing his mother's undies. (You can quote me on that.)

His punishment: a $50 Failure to Yield the Right of Way ticket.

In an era where Rove et al thumb their noses at laws, this surprises us how?
