I'm attending the International Water Conference at the UN. Someone informed me about it and I decided to attend tonights session. I have already met a couple ambassadors.

I will post something about the event when I get home, but I want to say one thing. The international water shortage plus privatization is something I learned about on DU 2-3 years ago. Once again, DU is ahead of most of the world. :patriot:

It was first published in 1986 and my father gave it to me to read. It tells the story of water in the West and it will make you think. It starts with John Wesley Powell through Bill Mulholland making the Owens Valley a desert to green up LA and the San Fernando Valley to Floyd Dominy, one of the most vile people to ever breathe air.

Water, not oil, will bring this and many other countries down. You don't need to drive but you do need to drink.
