Joy guest hosted for Larry King last night. Guess WHO called in to the show. Whining???
Last night, Joy Behar filled in for Larry King and had Fran Drescher on the show. The conversation somehow turned to the whole "N" word drama on "The View."

That's when Fran asked Joy a question about Elisabeth, "What's with the crying? Is that how she wins battles with her husband?" No, because I doubt her husband talks to her annoying ass anymore. He just shrugs when she asks him a question and then shuffles off to his office to watch porn.

Of course, Elisabeth Hasselcrack couldn't keep her hole shut about Fran's comment. She called into the show and said, "I was busy watching Hannity & Colmes and wanted to pop in and see you Joy. And I had to express my disappointment in Fran. You speak about women's rights and you certainly wasted no time in cutting another woman down....." I have no idea what she said after that because I only heard the sound of wet queefing.

I'm surprised Elisabeth didn't turn on the fake crocodile tears for Fran. Can't someone have a damn opinion without Hasslebrack moaning about it?

1. I saw that too
I thought it was very odd - but I think MOST things she says are odd.

2. If you're still watching Hamnity and Combs,
There isn't much hope for you to begin with Liz.

A Faux plug and a lie toofer. Very nice.

I'm amazed she didn't use the ole standby "I just happened to be listening" instead of pretending she can use a remote without crying first.

The View makes me so happy I work in the morning

Hiya Cat Woman darlin! :loveya:

3. The entire debate is misframed
The proper context for the debate over the word "Nigger" is in the American revolution with the word Yankee.

Yankee was once used by the British like Nigger. After the defeat of the British, the term gained an irony that allowed it to be used as a gloat. Yankee was now brandished proudly by those against whom it had been used derisively.

So the "stop saying it" debate is just looking for a knee jerk simplistic response and totally ignoring it as a mark of pride, which is why it is used so widely today. Plus, as a song word, it has tremendous alliterative value.

For these reasons I support preservation of the word "Nigger" and instead call for a more meaningful dialog of what it is people want to eliminate.

7. How could anyone be "busy" watching Hannity and Colmes? It's the height of thoughtless
Edited on Wed Jul-23-08 08:48 PM by Riddler
non-thinking drivel on TV and certainly doesn't involve having to put any of your physical or mental facilities in gear. The fact that she was "busy" watching that garbage shows just how ignorant she is.
