They are inofficially using it already but I expect them to become more clear on it towards November.

3. They don't even need to
They can have the media play the race card for them. McCain will get nothing but rosy press and Obama nothing but dubious questioning.

5. Where Ya Been...What's Reverend Wright All About?
During the primaries I noted how this election reminded me of the Chicago mayoral election of 1983...when Harold Washington beat Jane Byrne and Richie Daley in a very tough primary and then went on to face Bernie Epton in the general...and Epton's campaign theme was "before it's too late". We're all but there in this campaign. Thank goodness many inside the Obama campaign got their first taste of politics in that election (especially David Axlerod) and will be prepared for what's to come.

The GOOP has has the racist whisper campaign going from the day Senator Obama announced. At first it was muted behind their obsession with Hillary but as soon as he began to emerge as a contender so did the whisper campaign. Note the Reverend Wright shit came down right after Super Tuesday and it was right wing hate radio that went nuts with the thing. It gave them the mask to attack Obama and be racist (scary black man) by saying how they disagreed with the reverend's "politics". Bullshit!

The question will be how overt will they become with their racism...and how far will the corporate media go along?

8. And I Have A Bridge To Sell You...
Looks like the mask sure fit you nicely...yep, it was his "politics" that were the problem. :sarcasm:

Then where was the outrage about what Hagee or Parsley said? You would think that extremism of one form or another should be at least recongnized and condemned if that's what the issue was, but it wasn't. Hagee and Parsley were white.

So maybe you can explain to me the disparity here and what the Wright controversy was about? And while you're at it, could you also explain all the Obama is a Muslim rumor or the reparations one. Racism and hatred...it's one of the few things that is holding the right wing together.

10. Oh, you are so right! Let's not forget how the Republican Party went after the white
Southern racist vote right after Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Acts in the late sixties. It has been the party of racism ever since, to that party's undying shame and disgrace. If you hate, fear, suspect the worst of, and generally distrust all black people you vote Republican. I loathe everything they stand for.

11. And Don't Forget The Latinos Or Women Or Gays...
They mask their hatred of Mexicans as "illegal aliens"...you rarely see a discussion about the large number of undocumented Eastern Europeans who have overstayed visas or snuck in other ways. They disguise their hatred in a flag or cross but it's never far from the surface. To ignore it or deny it is to condone it.

Cheers...

7. The Monday before Election Day, expect to hear that from all of them
as they release the tension that's been building in them to that point.

9. Twice I've heard from repugs that the first thing Obama will do...
as president is immediately grant reparations. Nowhere have I read or seen Obama say anything of the sort. These are white repugs of course. They'll also insist that they're not racist....
