Tasered Grandpa Sues Hospital - Security Guard takes joke wrong way
A grandfather and pastor is suing a Toledo, Ohio hospital after being tasered and beaten by security guards at the facility.

Much of the incident was caught by surveillance cameras.

Al Poisson, 67, says he was visiting a friend in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center a year ago and was in a very good mood when he came upon a glum-looking guard and joked with him.

"I said (to the guard), 'Are you happy today?' Poisson told Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith Friday. "He said, 'Yeah.' I said, 'Well, you oughta tell your face!' "

Poisson added that, "It went downhill from there" and turned into an "atrocious, unbelievable situation, to say the least."

The guards wound up taking Poisson outside the building, where they used a taser and/or stun gun on him, dropping him to his knees and, he says, beat, kicked and "manhandled" him when he was down.

11. Of course this 76 year old man should NOT have been tasered!!
You don't have to be a genious to figure this out. FIRE THE GUARD and make SURE he never works in that capacity again.

Throw the guard in prison.

You go grandpa. Sue the **** outta that hospital and go after the stupid guard too.

8. Be careful what you say to authority.

I was on the phone with my township's permit officer and, referring to a blueprint that I wanted to enlarge (to see more detail), I said I'd just "blow it up". He thought I was talking about blowing up the permit office. At first, I didn't understand his rude reaction and things went downhill until he threatened to send the police. Suddenly, I realized what I said and how he misinterpreted it and I was able to defuse what could have become a dangerous (if I get tazered I'm a dead man) situation.

9. Gramps shouldn't have gotten tasered,
but maybe he'll think twice about telling someone to smile. That little power trip gets really old.
