Tough summer at the theme park: Snapshot of a derailed economy....
I ran across this ad from Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va.

Adult Ticket, Kids Price!

Get two days at Busch Gardens—for the price of one kid’s ticket.

Ready to feel like a kid again? Right now, Virginia residents can buy an adult’s ticket to Busch Gardens for the exact same price as a child’s ticket. Plus, your second visit is absolutely free! You’ll experience twice the adventure. Play for a whole day; then come back for a totally free visit. It’s the perfect way to spend more time exploring the park—from the free-falling roller coasters and rides, to the fun shows and rockin’ concerts. Kids can come back for a free second visit, too! But remember, this special offer ends August 31 and is only available to Virginia residents.
Go ahead — get your ticket now and lock in your savings.

1. Saw a similar campaign up here in northern Illinois for Great America.
When people can't even afford a local vacation, you know things are truly bad. (Well, we knew already.)

We have left over season tickets from last year that are still good. Taking my son tomorrow....should be a nice day in the "Old Dominion".

5. Isn't That "Kings Dominion"
I've been several times as a kid in the 70's. My first experiences at a real amusement park. After that I visited every park I could.
