Coast Guard is prioritizing ships and will let those going to refineries up the river which hasn't been cleaned up from the oil spill earlier in the week. However the deliveries will still be delayed somewhat and the ships will be floating through oily water. Fears of rising gas prices got the cleanup effort going full tile boogie from New Orleans South.

1. This feels so weird to me. I was standing on the levee on the river
about 12 hours before the spill, right at Jackson Square. It was muddy, but there was no oily sheen, no smell, no overt pollution visible at all. Sad......

I hear it stank up the FQ BUT GOOD......
