36. We Should Be Able To Vote
People should be able to vote out senators of other states when the people in those states choose badly. Life would be so much better for all of us if progressives in New York and California could get together and vote out the senators from Kentucky or Alaska. The of how good it would be if the people of Europe could have gotten together and voted out Bush.

If we stand as one, we can do anything! :web:

I must pick my own state. Of course Lindsey is bad enough but Jim DeMint is truly batshit crazy. He makes Lindsey look pretty liberal.

21. well, that may be true but I think Kentucky has it even worse. The Breck Girl
ain't so hot but she isn't the Complete Evil Spawn From Hell that McConnell is and while Cornyn is about as intelligent as your average slug, I think the other Kentucky Senator is even worse.

I freaking HATE McConnell.

25. I voted for (or is it against?) Oklahoma, for...
... the generally inhumane stances of Inhofe and Coburn. They are not at home to Mr. Rational Thought, are they?

But dishonorable mentions go to the following badly behaved people:

Saxby Chambliss for running ads that attacked the patriotism of Max Cleland. Chambliss also gets points off for pretentious-sounding name.

Mitch McConnell, for doing the attack dog routine on the Frost family. Way to share those family values. Can't keep his chin up. He hasn't got one.

Jeff Sessions, for long-winded wasting of people's time in hearings, all while pretending butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.

Ted Stevens for bad temper and worse diction.

27. NO Other Possible Answer But - - NORTH CAROLINA

Actually, the funny/sad part of this is that there ARE actually plenty of good answers to thsi question, all from double-R Senate states, but I have to advocate for my personal fave, North Carolina (where I used to live). Liddy is almost certainly the Senate's least intelligent person, but if she's rivalled by anyone in that arena, it's Dick Burr. Both also epitomize the archetype of the Rethuglican "Do-Nothing Senator" - - I can't think of anything Burr has EVER done, while Dole's only accomplishment (thanks, Lid!) is ably captaining the NRSC's "disaster" (for them - - a bonanza for us!) in 2006.

28. yep its us here in ok no fucking doubt
on the local level there is hardly ever a re:puke: even run for any of the offices our elections are always settled with a Dem run off. WE have electronic vote counting machines and an astronomical high price to recount system that is rife with corruption. Its rare that a republican wins or even files for the sherifs, county commissioner, school board, dog catchers but we go with the pukes on the national level. its the vote counting machines doing this to us but I have no way to confirm that.

For a state which is remarkably progressive in so many ways, Dole and Burr are aberrations.

I had to go with Oklahoma. Both of them are off their rockers for the most part although I find that Coburn once in a great while has something constructive to say.
