3. All of the above
Poppy might not have been directly involved in this round. But he spawned Chimpy, and hired the rest of these traitourous, soulless pieces of shit. So that makes him an accessory before the fact.

4. I would have to say the dick.
Everyone else just dressed up the pig and applied the make-up so he could take it out in public.

5. Democrats on Capitol Hill
Or at least the ones who were told what was going to happen in 2002 when they were briefed on "enhanced interrogation" techniques including waterboarding, strappado, and sodomy with flashlights.

Nancy Pelosi knew, and yet she did nothing.

13. Through them from Cheney's office. He was the one pushing torture
and Addington did more of the footwork, including multiple trips to Gitmo.

16. Fyi, Jane Mayer was on Moyers show tonight talking about this, exactly.
There may be a transcript at his site.

And, remember, Tenet was at war with Cheney/Rumsfeld, and, he lost. So, Porter Goss gets to replace Tenet at CIA and Cheney runs roughshod over them even after Rumsfeld leaves.

It's so creepy that our intelligence community has been at the mercy of someone like Darth Cheney and his Cheney.

11. All of the above and the American people.
No offense DUers, I know you spoke out, but where was the general outcry? Where were the people in the streets screaming "NO!" and making it clear that torture is not an American policy? Some were silent because they supported torture. Others were silent because they were afraid or ignorant or ... ?

15. Who is to blame? I blame those that desensitized the population
To say that this normal in a cage fight, on TV, to say this normal.
Where football players say that dog fighting is part of the culture.

The ones that say we need to spank our children.

Actually, taking a live frog and sticking a firecracker
down its throat, is presidential in our country, these days.

The new American gladiators is in on TV tomorrow night.

Because we need a big foot print and something to eat.
