It's quite easy to write code that will randomly generate names, email addresses and cities and create thousands of "signatures". Those in a position of influence give it the same credibility they give a sheet of blank paper. It's meaningless drivel. It makes people think they are effecting change without having to get their hands dirty or open their wallets. It satisfies some people's desire to feel like they are doing good.

I hate that people here are fostering this growing climate of slactivism believing they are achieving change by doing NOTHING.
