Website tool to help families communicate about loved one in the hospital
I have a friend whose child is having major surgery. She sent me a link to a website where she posts updates about her son. I guess the idea is that it's easier for the family to manage than dealing with phone or email but still lets them get in touch with larger groups. I get an email that says she's updated the journal there, and then we can all go look and leave messages in the guestbook. She showed her little boy all the good wishes that were coming in and he thought that was pretty neat.

Anyway, I don't know much about this site, looks like a non-profit, but if it's useful for anyone with friends or family in the hospital or maybe other situations:
