You've Gotta Be Kidding Me: WSJ Compares George Bush To...Batman?

I was just listening to a podcast of Friday's episode of and explained that some buffoon in a Wall Street Journal editorial compared Bush to Batman.

Granted, both names start with "b" followed by a vowel and then two consonants, but that's where the comparison should end.

There seems to me no question that the Batman film "The Dark Knight," currently breaking every box office record in history, is at some level a paean of praise to the fortitude and moral courage that has been shown by George W. Bush in this time of terror and war. Like W, Batman is vilified and despised for confronting terrorists in the only terms they understand. Like W, Batman sometimes has to push the boundaries of civil rights to deal with an emergency, certain that he will re-establish those boundaries when the emergency is past..."


So what do you think, what comic book character would you compare Bush to?

Bush hid his secret identity. "I'm a compassionate conservative."

They both end up causing wide spread destruction when doing their jobs.

Batman dresses like a bat and Bush is bat shit crazy.
