Poll question: What will the GOP-controlled media be talking about when it covers... |
|
...the shooting in the Knoxville, Tennessee Unitarian Universalist Church?

is honing closely to the facts... no opining at all yet. It may not be editorialized at all. That would be the easiest way to avoid dealing with what is clear to everyone else.

2. And there are so many ways for them to cover it. |
|
I just posted a few things off the top of my head, guns, hate, economic.
They can do so much with this story, but I fear they might ignore it and move on to the next missing white girl story.
No offense to the missing white girls or their families, but these are supposed to be 24-hour news channels. They have time to cover more than one story, instead of repeating it over and over.

3. They will talk endlessly about how terrible that liberals were killed |
|
But they will make sure that everybody understands that they are really saying: "liberals were killed and they deserved it."

5. If It Can't Be Twisted to Fit the Manufactured Reality, It Just Isn't Reported or Discussed |

They thought they could get some spin on "shoot the Liberals", but I don't think that is working out for them, so they're going to drop it.

6. Yesterday the story they were pushing was... |
|
...an atheist shot a Christian! I don't know why, but I knew there was something more to the story.
I guess you're right, the GOP-controlled media is always trying to float their trial balloons before there is ever a chance to have any substantive analysis.
And when things don't go their way, they take their toys and stomp off.

7. not a word of it on MSNBC today |
|
They'll wait until the guy is in one of GE's private prisons, then run a 12 part story on it, to help them sell their private prisons.
