Homophobic re-hab? -stupid P.R. thing
Okay you probably have no interest in this but with Ney and Foley and everyone using re-hab as an excuse it seems to have reached its zenith.

Grey's' Isaiah Washington Going to Rehab

http://www.abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=2821901&page=1

Jan. 25, 2007 — "Grey's Anatomy" star Isaiah Washington has announced that he will check into a treatment center for psychological evaluation, following the controversy over his anti-gay slur against co-star T.R. Knight.

"I have begun counseling," Washington said. "I regard this as a necessary step toward understanding why I did what I did and making sure it never happens again."

Washington apologized and planned to meet with gay rights groups; then he announced his decision to go to rehab.

"Going to treatment is a good option for people who need help, but going to treatment for people who are looking just to shift the blame and otherwise avoid the consequences is not a good thing," said William Moyers, an addiction treatment expert.

1. Where's the national outrage?
This country went crazy when Mel Gibson and Michael Richards showed their bigotry. Washington should be fired. But I guess as long as Glenn Beck can use the word "faggot" on CNN, Isiah will get a pass.

4. I saw that. Amazing.
Yet they edit out Bill Maher outing Ken Mellman on Larry King "Live" for their West Coast viewers. Starting to see a pattern?

5. Beck should have been canned after his interview with Keith Ellison, actually
CNN never should hired him. I'd like to see Beck and Nancy Grace and her flaming nostrils of justice tossed out onto their collective asses.

10. It's painful to watch.
I put it on the tv when I'm at the gym just to read the news scrolling at the bottom as a distraction.

6. If a gay man called him ...
nigger, yes, I'm using the word, then his career is over, no matter how much "rehab" he got.

Hopefully, you can get a new show costarring with Michael Richards when you're out.

9. Agreed
The point here isn't free speech either it is modifying behavior to let people know what is not going to be allowed as we progress FORWARD
