When a Democratic Leader in Congress saying we have no evidence of a crime Bush committed you have to wonder if she really believes we are that naive, or she has another agenda.

Something is seriously wrong with this picture....

1. I believe it is obvious
nancy and company have a completely different agenda than they were elected for. It starts with Power and Ends with corporate cash. That is really all that they care about, much like the repukes they claim to be different from. It is beyond depressing.

2. I believe they have a gun to their head, figuratively and in some cases literally.
repugs being experts in the art of intimidation that's not a stretch at all. Then throw in a story like the UU shootings and the gop's got the environment of fear they're looking for.

3. Blackmail and Death Threats
Congress got a lot more cooperative after Wellstone's plane went down.

4. Don't forget Max Cleland
He looked like being the sole voice of truth on the 9-11 commission. He was apparently bought off by Bush awarding him a job. But I suspect the truth was more along the lines of "You've had a lot of experience living with only one arm and no legs. It's very difficult. Imagine how much harder it would be with no arms. Now accept this job and don't say anything to negate the impression that you've been bought off."
