Question about Karl Rove! |
|
If Karl Rove is indicted now and is given jail time before the end of the year, will he be eligible for pardon by the president? I was just wondering if it would be better to wait until January to take action against Rove in order to avoid him receiving a pardon.

1. He could be pardoned BEFORE he is even charged |

Ford pardoned Nixon, despite the fact that Nixon had yet to be charged with a crime.

Ford pardoned Nixon "for all crimes he may or may not have committed". If it was good 'nuff for Nixon, why not Rove (and the rest of the cabal: Miers, Bolton, Rice, Rumsfeld, etc. etc.)
