Election polls and the superbowl...
So gallup comes out with this very bizarre poll having mclame ahead.

Meh.

Here's the real deal.

We all bitch and complain about how the rightwing controls the media, why now should we be the least bit surprised by this?

It's like the superbowl. This past one was actually pretty good, but in reality that many a sport fan is loathed to admit, the superbowl is usually a over hyped pile of a blowout.

By the second half, you have a pretty good idea who is going to win, since the leading team is ahead by 50 touch downs.

So what happens? Well, after the national bathroom break, a major portion of the audience stops watching. It's no longer fun.

We all know that Obama is going to hand mclame is ass politely come november, and even the networks know that, but if they let us know that, then their ratings and market share tank and no one watches the stupid ill informed talking bobble heads any longer.

Get the picture? As long as the keep the perception that the race is "close" they make money.

and really at the end of the day, is there anything more important to these corporate tv puking machines?

1. Somehow I feel a little bit better w/this analysis. I mean, I was
about to give up on the "readers and talkers" on the TV. Maybe they're just doing as you say. Keepin' it goin' for the boss.

2. McLame's 100 Years of War is MUCH More Important to Their Parent Corporations Than Ratings!
It isn't just a "horse race" they want, they want the Repiglickins to "win", and they are going to help them FIX this "horse race".

They think McLame would be better for the oil companies and munitiions makers that OWN them.
He has promised them 100 years of war, and they are totally in love with him.
