overnight excursion and then couldn't get back into LA. We stayed at the Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica, and a parking garage behind the hotel collapsed onto itself. I now avoid parking garages at all cost.

I was visiting my cousin during that earthquake in 1994 never again. I will never forget that feeling.
