13. Mentally I am just fine with this, lol. But that fight-or-flight response

and epinephrine release does a number on the body.

11. I'm from Ohio but was near Joshua Tree for the Northridge. We left LA for an

overnight excursion and then couldn't get back into LA. We stayed at the Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica, and a parking garage behind the hotel collapsed onto itself. I now avoid parking garages at all cost.

I was visiting my cousin during that earthquake in 1994 never again. I will never forget that feeling.
