Here's how gays are actually ruining society - ironically the GOP may have a point
What they are doing is joining the GOP, denouncing gays, getting elected to high office, and continuing to blame gays for all of societies woes. This fosters anti-gay sentiment. Then, when they are inevitably caught (I'm looking at you Troy King, Larry Craig, Ted Haggard, etc.) everyone's head explodes from cognitive dissonance.

Disclaimer: This is weak satire. I am for full rights for all people, and appreciate my gay brothers and sisters on this site. But man, I just cannot believe the extent of Republican homosexual hypocrisy. It's amazing!

1. The lust for power trumps all.
If you happen to be a right-wing asshole who also happens to be gay, and you have a hunger for political power, your only option (apparently) is to hide your sexual orientation, join the GOP, and claw your way to the top. Your sexual orientation is a bit of a problem, since, if anyone finds out, you're pretty much dead as a Republican, so you overcompensate by becoming the biggest gay-basher you can possibly be.

When you're finally discovered to be one of the very gay people you've spent 20 years or more calling the spawn of Satan, people are shocked and appalled at your hypocrisy. Of course, there's no hypocrisy at all: you have always remained faithful to your true love - power.

3. In the Third Reich, there were gays in power, who had other gays
first wear the Star of David with a pink triangle for identification and isolation, and then for arrest and internment at concentration camps.

4. It's not really that surprising
And your satire has a very sharp point on the end- the Repubs set things up so that it's only legal for THEM to do it.

That means that in their world, they can lie, cheat, steal, murder, sleep with whoever they want, while everyone else has to "follow the rules"

In that regard, they are the biggest roadblock to any "right" imaginable, and they very much hurt the civil rights of other people like themselves(gay, straight or bi)

5. Maybe GOP gays are pro-closet and anti-commitment
I get a headache when I try to put myself a republican mind on any issue. But I suppose that there are gay Republicans would prefer sex that is anonymous and non-committal (just as some straight men do). If gay marriage was legal, they are afraid that partners want something more than sex.

8. Heard A Comic On Stephanie Miller Today
He said that straight men should absolutely love gay men, because they're leaving more women for the straight guys.

He said (i'm quoting as best i can) "The guys on the other team are actually playing for our team!"

It was pretty funny stuff. Wish i could remember the guy's name.
