A BUZZFLASH NEWS ANALYSIS
by Amy Weiss

Both Fox News and the White House press corps don't seem to have much interest in the report released Monday by the Justice Department's Offices of Inspector General and Professional Responsibility. It found that former DOJ White House Liaison Monica Goodling broke federal law in her hiring and promoting practices.

The report concluded that Goodling (and a other DOJ staffers) used political considerations when filling not just political positions but also career positions in the department. Civil Service laws stipulate that employers cannot discriminate based on political affiliations and views in the hiring process for career positions, while political positions are not subject to those same laws.

1. Any prosecutors out there? Even though Pelosi, Reid . . .
And other gutless and unprincipled dems have taken impeachment off the table, can the various criminals employed by the current administration realistically be pursued after the administration ends?

I realize that most of these trogs are guilty of "political crimes" (as opposed to those who are also guilty of war crimes), and politicians are generally reluctant to pursue each other on those grounds (not wanting to foreclose their own tactical options going forward), but from a purely legal point of view, can they be pursued? Presidential pardons notwithstanding, does their guilt magically evaporate on January 20 next year?

2. Where law and order are concerned Fox News will say nothing.
Unless they can slap a D on it, whether that is the truth or not.

4. I certainly wouldn't call it "inexplicable.."
Perhaps just call it "fair," or "balanced" coverage.

To be completely fair - they ARE the ONLY L$M outlet still reporting on the "Obama Birth Certificate Bombshell..."

I mean, they can't be EVERYWHERE, right?
