Fox Desperate for Death and Destruction From the California Earthquake (ROFLMAO)
From:

We watch FOX so you don't have to.

Fox's "business news" show, Your World w/Neil Cavuto was wall-to-wall Southern California earthquake coverage just now (July 29, 2008). Substitute host David Asman narrated an hour's worth of aerial video showing mile after mile of shopping centers and freeways - but no destruction - and an intersection with water in it that he, just "guessing," figured was probably caused by a water main break caused by the earthquake.

Fox reporter Anita Vogel entertained us for several minutes with cell phone video of her in a car on a freeway, speeding toward what she "heard" was damage, like broken windows.

Toward the end of the hour Fox finally found some real "damage" in that there were "reports" that 5,000 people were without power. And Asman was obviously grasping at straws when he said who knows, "people with bad hearts" could have had heart attacks, and sure enough, there was a report of a "small head bump" and someone with "a couple of cuts."

This, but no mention whatsoever of any business news, not even the closing numbers on Wall Street. And Fox wonders why the Fox "Business" Network gets fewer daytime "hits" than we do on a big day?

2. It was no different on CNN or GEM$NBC
Never in history have I seen such ridiculous coverage of a 5.4 earthquake. They were showing us people sweeping up sugar in a supermarket and a few cans falling off shelves in hardware stores.
Anything other than Ted Stevens or the right wing killer at the liberal Unitarian church.

9. President lame duck plans to
fly 30,000 above the damaged area, looking deeply concerned...media isnt paying attention like they used too. This 5.4 quake is an answer to the little feller's prayers.

10. It's pathetic, isn't it?
We had our own local news shows out combing the streets for carnage. About all they could come up with was a spill at a Chino Hills convenience store. They kept panning the honey buns and Hostess cupcakes toward the tragic spill of Pepsi and Squirt.
