Obama is being treated like a world leader because Bush is *deficient *
and so is McCain.

Obama's presence on the world scene is filling a void that Bush failed--and continues to fail--to fill appropriately, and quite evidently so does McCain.

The Republicans know it too, and they are desperately trying to do damage control by saying Obama is presumptuous.

1. The Republicans have no one to blame but themselves..they lied cheated and stole for Bush
They wanna do the same for McCane.

Trouble is, the results got in the way...it sucks....this is not a time to be a Pub...the basic philosophy sucks...on the evolutionary scale of things...Republicanism as we see it today will eventually go extinct

They have run their course and blew it

Obama will surprise us with amazing improvements, change, and hope....

3. That void was what gave Giuliani his popularity
It was Bush*'s complete lack of leadership during the 9-11 crisis that made Rudy appear competent..That fascade was quickly blown to hell though..

4. Obama is refreshing as an American candidate
At last, a presidential hopeful who doesn't think he has to use simple words and phrases formed in the structure of a bumper sticker to talk down to the American people.
A possible president who's not pretending he could suddenly materialize at my local bar and "have a beer with me".

Like me, he sees through the symbolically useless hype of flag pins, yellow ribbons, and patriotic verse.
He's a man who knows that when an iceberg lies in the path of the ship of state, a change in course is preferred to crashing stubbornly head on with chants of "we're #1".

Barrack Obama deserves a certain level of superiority for being a mature statesman in a flock of hand pumping, baby kissing, chicken-in-every-pot politicians.

I can't wait to see the contrast in the first head to head debate.

6. Obama IS pretty inconsiderate.
He could at least speak in sentence fragments and mispronounce half the words so * wouldn't look so bad by comparison. Damned inconsiderate of Obama, I'd say. And the "young and vigorous" schtick -- out of deference to McCain, Obama should try to look and act a lot more like a mummy.
