WOW! Where has the time gone <insert punctuation here>
That poor <please select age of person> is ten today, can you believe it? I wonder how stupid he is. Poor boy. Horrible parents, you'd think they'd change his name by now?

Actually they were very versatile. I'm also named after a toilet with the same name.

I'm named after an average, although they did give me the nickname Joby, so I can't complain.

actually I was named for my mother's father, a man whom I truly loved. He was my best buddy but he died when I was ten.

9. They got both my grampies involved. |
|
First name is my dad's dad (and my dad's). Never met him. The middle name is my mom's dad. He died when I was ten. I loved him and was fascinated by him, but he was a racist to end all racists, and quite an anarchist to boot. Hmmm. He'd have been a good DUer in some ways--man never landed on the moon, the government got Kennedy, no politician should ever be re-elected.
So I got Joe, after one grandpa, and Bernard, after the second. Joe B. They shortened it to Joby.

3. I don't think they have to legally change the name on the birth certificate |
|
Just use whatever name they want to call the child.
My Mom's birth certificate just has "Unnamed female child" in the name spot. But she's used the name her parents called her since 1921 and not had problems.
