BOSTON (WBZ) -

Four children in a two-state Amber Alert have been found safe in New York. The children
were allegedly taken by their father from a murder scene in Lynn early Wednesday morning.

Authorities in New York found the children safely at Union and Franklin Avenue in Brooklyn
Wednesday evening where they had been spotted earlier in the day.

The children, all ages 3 and younger, were taken from their home sometime after 1 a.m. in
the area of 99 High Rock Street in Lynn, where a woman was found stabbed to death in her
home. Police later released surveillance video of the family at South Station where it's
believed they took a bus to New York City.

Petitbois was arrested without incident at about 6 p.m. while he was walking down the street.

Eveillard and the four children were found safe in a Brooklyn apartment.

4. It's a
poor area, I think. Economically depressed.

I've only been there once and that was years ago.

5. I didn't realize he had the mom too, until I read the article.
I just assumed the woman he stabbed was the mother, since that's typically the case.

Wow.
