No Democrat voted against the minimum wage increase, but it can't pass because only a few Rs crossed over, and there aren't enough D votes to push it through.

People sometimes claim that there is "no difference" between some Ds and Rs, but here is a situation where they are undeniable different.

The more Ds (even if they are conservative Ds like Nelson or Salazar) we have in the senate, and the fewer Rs, the better.

I hope everyone remembers that in 08.

1. Unfortunately, my Dem (Stabenow-MI) voted for torture which is

why I voted Green in that race. I knew she would win but I wanted to take a hunk out of her percentage. And it did. I like to think this may have sent a message to her.

There are different reasons why people make the decisions they do. That said, I am glad all of our Dem Congresspeople voted for. Let's hope they keep it up. :hi:
