Andrea Mitchell is defending Obama against McSame on Morning Schmo
Edited on Fri Aug-01-08 06:55 AM by DainBramaged
And yes I am watching it, unfortunately, while Joe does his best to bash Obama while Mika bobble heads her way through the show.

Andrea Mitchel is becoming a stand-up journalist.

And Schmo tried to talk over her in the beginning but she would have none of it, and then all of them just shut up and let her talk, yes even though it wasn't strong she was talking positively about Obama and chiding the Gramps campaign.

2. Wall Street wants Obama.. So, she will do her part in pushing Obama..
Eventually, they all will, except for Faux, after the summer. Right now they want a horse race for ratings..

27. Because they won't survive with another 4 yrs of Bush economics..
they aren't surviving now.. and the last thing they need is another person who doesn't understand the economy... When Wall Street doesn't make their big bonuses, well they get a little pissy.

31. Wall Street is handing out a lot of Pink Slips these days.. Banks are going
under... At some point they understand regulation and a bit of control keep them rolling along.. but left alone, capitalism busts itself everytime.. they are geared to a profit.. that means keeping wages low, no bennies, less taxes, off shoring.. After a while, who is going to buy your product? When people don't have the money, they don't buy extra and they don't do extra. So, eventually you are out of the possibility to make more money and you will close up shop.. Main Street does help Wallstreet... Besides, I don't see McCain sitting down to talk with top economic advisors. Obama is taking this thing seriously, and McCain still says the economy isn't his strongest area..

28. I doubt that..
Wal-Mart came out today with a scare e-mail to it's managers warning about the evils of a Democratic White House. The realize Obama will be no Bill Clinton. I'm not trashing Bill Clinton, but he was pretty business friendly for a Democrat. Different times, different man.

evening news, too disgusting. I watched Andrea last night on NBC and was shocked, shocked I tell ya, at how professional, non-snarky and great she was. This is the Andrea I like. Frigg cable news, unwatchable. I muted Brian Williams who has also become unwatchable, even watched Katy for a few minutes, it was far more informative, no yelling and I was able to keep my dinner down..lol.

5. Has The Worm Turned?
Is Gramps whining and lying finally hurting his real base...the corporate media?

His striden attacks are hitting colateral damage...the media that used to love his sorry ass. Are we starting to see a messy divorce?

For those who are soooo worried about the attacks...we're starting to see it for the desparation it is. They can't keep this up for much longer...and if they do, they risk alienating more than they attract. Even worse, is having to run an election based on their record and the issues.

6. Poor Andrea Mitchel
Her husband has gone totally crazy. I saw him on TV yesterday saying that there was no recession and that things were going great. I guess things are going great for Andrea and Allan, but It doesen't look so good for the 98% of Americans who still pay their taxes, when we try to pay our bills and feed ourselves too.

13. Basically, that the so-called 'race bating' by Obama is what he has been
saying all along, that he is different, self-depreciating, not just Black, just different from all of the old White men who have run before him. And she thought that the McSame campaign dragging Britney (let's talk about her crotch) Spears and Paris Hilton was simply stupid of the campaign.

11. Didn't Andrea Mitchell have a change of heart after traveling with Obama?
She was pretty negative toward him before his Middle East trip. Since then, she's been on his side most of the time. I think she saw something over there that changed her mind.

got out there and defended what she (herself) saw as the truth regarding Barack in Iraq, Afghanistan and the issue of not visiting the troop in Europe.

Scarborough uses every minute of his show to bash Obama.

Mika is useless, she is weak, she is just like Hannity's sidekick. Yesterday, she was trying to nail down Obama's guy to do the town hall meetings McCain wants, yeah right, she waffles and is unable to take a stand and as such, Scarborough completely dominates his show.

By the way, nothing wrong with watching it, that way you at least can keep up with what is happening and the guests are good on the show. Robert Gibbs is on there almost every day among several other persons very knowledgeable.

was the McCain campaign that was injecting race into this, not the Obama campaign. And Chuck Todd basically said the same thing that he didn't take it that way, and anytime we end up talking about race, it's a negative plus for McCain, not for Obama. Joe with his little "Yeah, but he said "they"? Who are "they"?" Don't play innocent, asshole. Tikki Barber pointed out that most people in retrospect associate the swift boat with the Bush campaign. And why isn't anyone pointing out the irony of Steve Schmitt, Rove Protege, making all of these sanctimonious statements about using race in a campaign, when Rove used race in a campaign against McCain's daughter in 2000 (and plus, Rove has admitted that he's an unofficial advisor).

However, I have to give her credit for calling the tactics honestly. I've seen that a few times from her, she doesn't like the dirty politics.

26. She is being watched.
I have been watching her more closely since she disrespeced me and all my neighbors by saying that Bristol,Tn. was "redneck country". Do we have rednecks? Sure. But no more than anywhere else. I know that she apologized for saying it. I forgive easily. I do not forget though.I am so tired of the south getting slammed. The media says Appalachia with the same bad taste in their mouth that they say "liberal". It makes me cringe. Sorry for the rant.
