1. In a very cynical sense
Either way, the GOP will win. Either McCain gets in and they win, or Obama gets in and all this crashing hellstorm is all his fault.

2. Not if he explaines it right! Obama is nobody's fool. I'm positive
he's capable of explaining to the American people what the real causes were of all these disasters, and what he's doing to repair the big mess!

Of course the Pubs will TRY to blame it all on the Dems, the same as they're doing now, but I don't think it will work!

6. The point is, the media will be hammering him harder than Bill Clinton ever was
Recession? DEMOCRATS!
Everlasting war? DEMOCRATS!
Soup kitchens? DEMOCRATS!

3. Like I said, it's scary stuff.
At least he has a couple of people on that aren't dyed in the wool pukes. I think they are being realistic for a change and not saying everything is Ok.

8. 3.5 trillion , actually.
Don't forget residual costs: veteran's care, veteran's benefits, replacing all the worn out crap.

9. Problems for next President
The next President needs to do what a good CEO does when taking over a company that is in trouble; air every thing out. I mean everything that is wrong get it out in the open.
