The only thing I don't understand about this McClellan/Cheney/Plame stuff |
|
is that all along he has protested he was just doing his job and was a mushroom (kept in the dark and fed bullshit) and now his kiss-and-tell book has all kinds of incredible revelations in it.
Better late than never, but I never agreed with the "I didn't know nothing" defense - he was too smarmy and smart at evading questions and saying absolutely nothing.
Hmm, much like everyone else in this administration, I guess. I appreciate his coming forward, and I guess self-preservation is an instinct he's good at, but I draw the line at making him into a political saint. Lots of others, from Ambassador Wilson to Richard Clark, tried to come forward and were vilified for it.

1. Yep - good point...... |
|
....it's ANOTHER misdirection/confusion/slight-of-hand orchestrated by the "powers that be".
It's very tiring.
I think "we, the people" need to get pro-active/ahead of the game.....and tire these b*stards out, FIRST!
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going".....and 'all of that' ;-)

2. Yeah, McClellan waited until safely out of the white house before speaking out. |
|
... he also waited until he could make a buck off the truth.
