George H. W. Bush's Candid Moment: "Our Man Ailes"

On Rush Limbaugh's radio program today, Bush the Elder, Dubya, and Jeb Bush called. When Bush the Elder was talking to Limbaugh, he apparently didn't realize they were on the radio and referred to Fox News CEO Roger Ailes as "our man Ailes." One of the Bush sons apparently told him that he was on the radio and to cool it because he tried to correct himself but it was too late. 1. Ailes was a long time GOP and Bush operative before Fox News.

He worked for Poppy Bush years ago.

The night of the election in 2000, it was Ailes who pulled the trigger on declaring Bush the winner, which started the media presumption of Bush as winner.
