Small protests today. Lots of Green Party types protesting against the Dems. Can't tell for sure who the rest are. Lots of cops keeping things moving on the sidewalk. Overall peaceful and attention-getting.

But the vast majority were Out of Iraq Now. Those were mostly Code Pink.

Just the big ones there were anti-Capitalism, etc.

Maybe 300 tops. Pretty much a rag-tag collection of various interests. Lots of Code Pink, though you can't tell well in the pics.

This was about 12:30 p.m., so still early in the day. Not much alcohol lubrication yet. And I don't think the student groups have really made it here yet. It takes a while to hitchhike from Saginaw.
