Is there no end to Compassionate Conservatism?? |
|
Found this little item in the current edition of USN&WR:
At a private fundraiser on July 29th in Cleveland george bush touched on many issues like "his historic war on AIDS, especially in Africa." He said he pushed it in part because hopeless people have the potential to become terrorists.
The compassion of conservative republican elected officials is just overwhelming.

1. We have to invade and destroy these hopeless people now, so we don't have to fight them here |
|
You can't trust hopeless people, at home or abroad. And for God's sake--whatever you do, don't give them hope!
Yup. George is a winner, all rightie.

2. I think he meant his historic war on persons with AIDS |
|
Because of their anti-condom policies, the Junta has done far more to SPREAD HIV disease than any other US president, including Reagan.

3. We can't spend any money here |
|
because that will take money away from the big corporations that are so heavily taxed by this unfair system!
GMAFB! When the difference in CEO and worker pay averages 477 times, and most major corporations don't pay taxes, they have nothing to whine about. Compassionate conservatism my ass! :grr:
