6. He's Already Done The Photo-Op

There's Commander Bunnypants "on the job"...calling the shots and being all "exlecutive" or something like that.

I'm suspecting there's a lot of overkill going on here...and in a certain degree, I'm glad that's happening...many in NOLA and the Gulf Coast were lulled into complacency during Katrina and IMHO this added to the tragedy...if the upping the rhetoric gets more people out of harms way, I'm all for it.

How he handles this crisis has ZERO bearing on wiping away Katrina...it's his "legacy" as are more fuck-ups than is worth getting into (I'm in no mood to get depressed). The fact he and his corrupt regime is trying to do what they were elected and paid to do in 2005 and didn't means little to those who lost loved ones. Sorry, there are no Mulligans here.

The proof in the pudding will be how he and his cronies react in the aftermath. How quickly will aid flow into NOLA...who will handle the recovery? Will he put a Rove in charge of the recovery? Will he let KBR and Blackwater run amok again? Time will tell.
