New Orleans Radio Coverage...

For those who care about New Orleans and don't either have a teevee or a slow speed connection, the best coverage comes from WWL Radio. At night, you can hear this station throughout the eastern portion of the US...and is the prime emergency outlet for the region. During Katrina they were the only voice left in the city...amazingly surviving the winds and power outages. I am listening here in Chicago...and if you're within 1,000 miles of New Orleans, you should be able to hear it on a decent AM radio at 870AM
