6. A restraining order??? |
|
I hope someone goes and gets their guns....
According to law, anyone under a restraining order, is "disqualified" from possessing a firearm.

10. Read that law a little further ... |
|
there is most likely a clause which would exempt law enforcement officers from the law.
After all, how can our small-dick punk-ass thugs brave, honorable Peace Officers to prevail over those who want our country back armed social deviates or protesting nuns, grannies, and your co-ed daughter drugged-up rabble-rousers, if we take away their hair-triggered hand-cannons sidearms or portable long-distance high-voltage torture devices other law-enforcement tools, just because their lastest innocent victim some whacko puts a restraining order against them?

7. Personally, I feel the Republican Convention has been a Hugh success. |
|
It is a pity that, unlike the police, the protesters couldn't file an order of protection pre-emptively. However, look at the bright side:
The cops/DHS/FBI have shot their fascist wad over a scenario that's not even going to happen. They've exposed their playbook for naught and the protesters will pack up and leave along with the Republics, HHS and M$M before the popo can redeem themselves. The illegal raids and detentions that have transpired will forever be viewed as completely over the top, unnecessary and anti-American. The GOP and DHS own this abortion of justice as much as they own Katrina, W, Iraq, toilet sex and lying just to stay in practice.
Further, if there were any false-flag operations on the agenda - the next logical progression considering the Twilight Zone/Red Dawn mentality of the Republic's Fatherland Security - they now have to be shelved. Without the cover of many unwilling participants, a well developed back-story and a lot fewer witnesses with cameras, the risk of exposure is too high. The protesters are leaving, nobody believes anything the gubmint says and, can you even get a cell phone without a camera anymore? What planet are these morans living on?
There will be no vindication of these illegal actions and the stink is all over the RNC/GOP and the Bush maladministration.

There is a large majority of Americans who support these sorts of police tactics..
Against people they don't like.
These kinds of police raids take place dozens, if not hundreds, of times every day in the land of the free and very seldom is a voice heard speaking up against it.
Not to mention that most people will never hear of this stuff because it will never hit the M$M.

11. You can get a restraining order against a variety of different kinds of actions or conduct-- |
|
The criteria don't necessarily have to do with whether guns are carried, but rather with whether or not irreparable harm will result if the restraining order is not issued, among other things.
Restraining orders are often appropriate with respect to First Amendment violations, since if the conduct complained of is preventing people from exercising their right to free speech when it matters most, that's difficult to make up for later and so can constitute "irreparable harm."
