If abortion is banned, how do you enforce the ban?
Women could just claim to have had a miscarriage. Or, in many cases, they just won't tell anyone that they were ever pregnant. So, it would seen necesary to monitor OB/GYN records on a regular basis in order to "catch" women who have had abortions.
And, assuming women ARE "caught" having an abortion... what do you do? Send them to prison? The doctor as well?
Should suspicious miscarriages be investigated as possible "murders"? If so, how do you decide which are "suspicious"?
There is a whole can of worms here that the far right never wants to talk about.

1. Back alley abortions will reappear, physicians who perform them will be hauled off to prison |
|
The rich will have their family physician perform them under the diagnosis of a D & C. This won't happen though because the democratic party is about to take over and we can all feel safe again.
Stupid republicans make life unbearable and I've had it with their false morals and values.

3. We need to ask those questions |
|
Imagine the firestorm that would occur if Palin admitted during the VP debate that she favors sending women and doctors to prison to enforce a ban on abortion.

2. Banning abortion is only part of the agenda. Banning birth control of ANY kind is also involved. |
