1. And that's just unfortunate,

because it's the story of a tragic event in a young girl's and boy's lives. Now, with an impending marriage, they really are faced with lives of truncated experience. I hope they find a way to avoid that.

While I deplore the attention this poor kid's situation is getting, imagine what it would have been like had young Chelsea Clinton gotten herself knocked up while still a high-school student.....................

3. Ha. I think it would actually speak *better* of Sarah Palin

if she had been trying to cover her daughter's pregnancy than being actually pregnant herself. Getting on a plane for HOURS after her water broke and she started contractions shows SERIOUS lack of judgment.

One is the character flaw of dishonesty and subterfuge (but at least with the motive of protecting her daughter). The other possibility is just shear stupidity and lack of judgment.

But it's ONE or THE OTHER. She's either a liar or a fool.
