A DU Challenge - I'll match your donation to the Red Cross

I (and I'm guessing many of you) just received a TXT from the Obama campaign urging us to contribute to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for help with the impacts of Hurricane Gustav. To get things going, I'm going to match every contribution made from the folks here in the next hour, up to $500. Post the amount in your response, and I'll trust that the the contribution was actually made. You can TXT "GIVE" to 24357 to make a $10 contribution, or go to http://www.redcross.org/donate for other amounts.

(for anyone wondering if this is for real, I provided a $5,000 challenge match for DU's America's Second Harvest drive back in December)

they didn't spend the money wisely and lost some of it and were under investigation.

Besides, I haven't heard that anyone is flooded out yet or have lost homes at all.

If the Red Cross reports that Obama supporters sent a huge amount to the Red Cross, it will counter the fundraising done in the next few days by the RNC.
