Palin - Worst Judgment Ever! |
|
Even if you weren't a policy wonk - even if you didn't know, didn't care or couldn't follow Palin's political stances or background all you need to know about her, to realize that she has the worst sense of judgment ever and should NOT be a heartbeat away from becoming leader of the last remaining superpower is that she accepted the VP nomination!
She's publicly humiliated her own teenage daughter on a national - no, actually and INTERNATIONAL stage! She claims to have done this in order to squelch dirty rumors that she faked her fifth pregnancy. Well, if she had not excrcised such poor judgment then - by keeping her pregnancy a secret - flying around for 11 or 12 hours before seeking medical attention when her water broke prematurely with a HIGH RISK PREGNANCY, then there would have been little fodder to feed a rumor mill, would there?
It was her OWN POOR JUDGMENT that started the rumors. People gave her too much credit - thinking that no pregnant woman, at her age, could act so recklessly. Guess what? Looks like she did!
And then, when approached by the McCain camp for the VP slot that she HAS to know somewhere deep down that she's not qualified for - does she ask herself "Is this maybe not the right time in my life, with my infant sons special needs and my teenage daughter going through her own pregnancy to seek the second highest office in the land?" That perhaps her own family is quite busy right now, and maybe her own daughter might like having some semblance of privacy during this life changing experience?
What a stupid, irresponsible, egotistical "mother"! All any voter, I think, needs to know is that she's got an even worse sense of judgment that George Bush. And that's saying something!

1. If she hadn't been tapped for VP, I believe Palin would have done |
|
everything she could to keep her daughter's pregnancy a secret. I've seen that happen so many times with fundie families---including preachers---it's not funny.

3. So why not stick with that original plan? |
|
Why thrust her daughters pregnancy into the spotlight like that? Being 17 is hard enough without being pregnant - then to have your personal business discussed all over the world by perfect strangers?!?!
I think her mom is awful for doing this to her. Does Palin actually believe that she's so special, so unique, that she has something SO GREAT to bring to the office of VP that no one else could doit? That because only she can serve in that capacity her daughter and infant son can just kinda go to hell and get out of her way?

2. If she just wanted to knock down rumors |
|
All she had to do was supply a birth certificate to the Alaska papers months ago when they asked her for one.
