That NO ONE had yet arrived at the Alaska newspapers to search their archives as part of a vetting process ... Not the McCain campaign ... Not the news media ... no one no how ....
So now: they are racing to get in and get started ....
I am finding the whole ordeal deliciously preposterous .... It is obvious the McCain camp has done a poor job with this selection, and given the amount of smoke: the smoldering fires will soon be uncovered ... and fanned ....

From what I have "gleaned" from my encounters with Ms. Phillips on CNN she is a total dominionist type who probably thinks S. Palin on the Rethug ticket is the greatest thing to ever happen to the GOP! Blech! :puke:
It would actually have been better if they had sent Candy Crowly. She at least seems to be a little bit more "impartial" than Kyra on this score.
