How pissed will the MSM be because McCain has screwed up so badly

with the Palin pick that they can't portray this race as a "horserace" anymore?

It seems to me that there is simply no way for McCain to recover.

The best that could happen for McCain would be for Palin to quickly step aside and for McCain to pick Huckabee, Powell or Whitman but that seems to be utterly unlikely at this point. Like Bush, McCain is stubborn - too stubborn for his own good - and he will defend this ridiculous choice until his campaign is in total meltdown (they are already pretty close).

I think the MSM talking heads must be pissed because they can't really spin this in the usual "he said - she said" even Steven manner. They only seem to have one choice - to run Ms. Palin out of town on a rail as soon as possible and hope McCain can find someone else.

Actually, I think the mainstream media is now so populated with vultures that they will take apart McCain with relish.

They do seem to like to tear the flesh off those already down.

Of course, in this case it couldn't be happening to a more deserving bunch of people.

2. The MSM is pimping her up

The corporate owned rightist MSM will do anything the can to get McCain elected. This pick will only help McCain. It has energized the fundamentalist base, and may just win it for him, if the youth vote doesn't show up on Nov 4th to vote for Obama.
