Poll question: In the paragraph pasted below from the linked editorial, the author refers to a...
... "clash of political mafias" within the U.S. suggesting that there is a power struggle between the old Ruling Class WASP (White Anglo Saxon Protestants) elites and an emerging new Zionist power bloc which views the U.S. as a colony of Israel.

America’s global position has establishment groups battling for control of foreign policy. Sectors of the old white Anglo Saxon protestant (WASP) ruling class see dedication to the Jewish state endangering empire and are in a struggle with the newer Jewish power bloc. This clash of political mafias will hardly bring peace, but it has already brought out much about the previously unmentionable. Support for a colonial state that brutalizes its native population enough to shock survivors of South African apartheid can only continue with Americans kept in complete ignorance.

The editorial: http://onlinejournal.com/artman/publish/article_3689.shtml

Do you agree with the author that a long term power struggle is being played out by these two groups (WASP vs Zionists) in the U.S.?

And secondly, if so, do you think it's important that we openly discuss it and try to make people aware?

3. You do realize that while slightly off target
the conspiracy theorists were actually onto something with respect to Palin mother and daughter and pregnancy?

Also, the Israel Lobby's influence on Washington's foreign policy is not a conspiracy theory, it is a fact. You might not think it is a negative, or not care much about it at all, but it is real.

5. So, have any *verifiable* pics of Sarah obviously pregnant shown up yet?
We are taking the word of proven liars on Bristol's pregnancy.

Sarah outed her own daughter's out of wedlock birth rather than releasing her own medical records.

What loving parent would do that to their child?

As to the OP, I don't know what to believe any more. It seems pretty clear that Israel has some kind of strange power over American politicians way beyond the number of Jewish voter in the US (the majority of whom are liberal anyway).

6. The WASPs bowed out a long time ago.
They were bought out by the corporatists in the 60s & 70s.

And what we're seeing is so much a "power struggle" as a negotiation for partnership.

10. Bong Hits for Truth?
The source of the linked article is a man named Frank Scott who, as stated just beneath the piece, "writes political commentary which appears in the Coastal Post, a monthly publication from Marin County, California, and on numerous web sites, and on his shared blog at legalienate.blogspot.com."

He references the work of James Petras, a retired Bartle Professor (Emeritus) of Sociology at Binghamton University, SUNY, New York, U.S., and adjunct professor at Saint Mary's University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada who has published prolifically on Latin American and Middle Eastern political issues.

12. You'll forgive me if I don't find the zero substance, judgmental and condescending rhetoric...
...from the one who posted this OP:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=180x52967

in which he made it a point to voice his support for the arming of school teachers to be particularly compelling.

From your OP, tburnsten: Anyway they seem to have a very solid set of requirements for any teachers or staff who want to carry, I think this is a policy that will be cheap for the school and will not be heard of again. I highly doubt there will be even a single incident because of an armed teacher.

And you're telling me to c'mon? The phrase "dumb as hell" comes to mind.

DU used to have a fairly competent freeper patrol -- I don't know what happened. Sure wish they'd reactivate it.

Heard that one two or three times, good job though, you are doing your best to make it stick. And when you administrate a school thirty minutes from the closest law enforcement than you can make all the decisions you want about teachers carrying in school, but until then, you are a "blood in the streets!" screaming irrelevant internet guy.
