4. Constitutionaly, he was qualified
Although events would prove that he lacked certain critical required qualities not specified by the Constitution.

5. Well, consider this.
Bush is the poster boy for the consequences
of inexperience and simplistic extremist views.

If the electorate took that as a caution, anyone
who followed Bush would be toast; and anyone without
experience and gravitas would also be unelectable.

In the current spate of candidates, we have both.

That tells you how flawed the American electoral
process is, and the way the country has been divided
against itself so that really good candidates simply
cannot get nominated.

8. I believe bush & reagan before him have proven that WE DON'T NEED presidents.
We've been operating WITHOUT a president for 8 years now.

11. He had the experience and qualification.
He was simply unfit for the presidency. He was a moron. He lacked the temperament and intelligence to be president. Anybody else with his resume (leaving out all the bad grades and personal failures) would have been considered qualified as a former governor of a large state.

15. Nixon and Bush the Elder were probably the most qualified and experienced
presidents of the latter half of the 20th century.

Didn't end up working out too well.

16. He was never qualified to run a lemonade stand.

Everything he ever was involved with prior to the Y2K selection turned to chit.
And since that time it has just been a steady case of history repeating itself.
Just like someone once described him ... "Bush was born on third base and he's
convinced he hit a triple".
