Hopefully, we can forget the dire predictions of $150 a barrel for oil. There has been rampant speculation and hopefully big losses by speculators. Maybe this will calm the markets by lessening interest in such investments. I've seen stories that some pension funds have been investing in commodities, including oil. This seems very risky and I have no sympathy for those who try to profit in this manner but end up losing when the bubble bursts.

before we know it, oil will be at $0 a barrel and we can all go back to driving our 3 mpg Hummers.
