Before coming upon the action, a jaunt along the Mississippi River revealed that gunboat diplomacy isn't just for foreign nations anymore. Note MACHINE GUN ON BOAT

All told I counted at least 30, and perhaps as many 40+ people arrested in this action. Minnesota Public Radio reported tonight that all told, about 100 were arrested today.



This young woman was literally just walking down the sidewalk on the opposite side of the street from me when a cop in car screeched to halt beside her. He apparently thought he'd recognized her from an earlier action.

The Coast Guard installed many of these guns after '911' and use them on rivers in populated cities. In the recent years they have installed them on their boats on the Great Lakes. megaphone, the Republicans send in a force that is equipped to counteract
an invasion of the Russian Army, and they attack the unarmed protesters with
the same degree of violence.
