I've been waiting for this -- we've been THIS CLOSE a few times. And McCain dropped a point, too!

3. Palin isn't helping McCain
Bummer.

He may now have the base but he's lost the moderate leaners who are looking at this train wreck thinking "This is ridiculous."

5. Yep...And When Chuck Todd Announced It...
no comment as to the fact that he was now at 50%. Funny, they seem to have no problems saying he can't get there...and when he does...no comment. If it weren't so serious...it would be funny!!!!

8. Which is EXACTLY WHY we need McCain to keep Palin as his running mate
McCain/Palin is such a weak ticket, sick old man running with inexperienced airhead.

I can't believe that I've read posts here at DU, where some people WANT McCain to dump Palin....we couldn't wish for a weaker ticket to run against.

I'm telling you IF McCain dumps Palin, within a short space of time those who WANT him to dump Palin will be on here crying about how they wished the stupid woman was still on his ticket.

McCain/Palin = dream ticket that is beneficial to our ticket.

McCain/Palin will drop further in the polls after Palin speaks at the GOP Convention, she's bound to say something that results in her foot getting stuck in her mouth.

Palin is the gift that keeps on giving.

9. That is wonderful news. There is a psychological barrier that has been
passed. May many more vote for Obama because he means to govern once he gains power. Unlike the GOP.
