1. No, MSNBC is covering the GOP convention. Countdown was pre-empted last
week, too.

4. And Keith was removed from the convention to cover Gustav.
Will MSNBC recall KO to Minneapolis?

2. Keith was removed from the convention and sent back to NY
to cover the ongoing Gustav "story". I'm not kidding. MSNBC claimed the move was not motivated by politics. With a straight face.

11. Seriously, who else could cover the hurricane at MSNBC at that time slot?
Only Mr. Olbermann has the gravitas necessary to do that job in MSNBC prime time. MSNBC really had no alternative.

Bear in mind that MSNBC had Mr. Olbermann INSIDE the Reagan Library during the first primary debate. This was after the Special Comment on Mr. Noun, Verb and 9/11. They've put Mr. Olbermann inside the belly of the beast and lived to tell the tale.

7. Thom Hartmann is covering this now.
Says, the RNC couldn't handle a real progressive in town so they sent him back to NYC. Also, said the convention is like a wake or a funeral. Let's hope it's the memorial for the death of the Republican Party.

9. Good for you. We need to keep these guys with links
and information because I don't think their producers are picking them up.
