Something has changed Christ Matthews lately.

He appears to not only be a Democrat once again, but his man-crush on Obama seems to have practically turned him into an Evangelist for The Obana Revolution.

Did Rachel and Keith beat some sense and progressiveism into him in the secret sex dungeon beneath MSNBC studios?

I don't know about you guys, but (at least for now) I like the New Chris.

3. No. No, it does not.

However, 18 year-old actresses PLAYING 17-year-old pregnant girls on Lifetime sometimes do.

4. I seriously doubt he attacked
Bristol Palin.

It was her mom that stuck her in the spotlight. The GOP needs to stop whining about any perceived negative comment about the judgment of Sarah Palin.

8. It's not like Sarah Palin is an anti-choice abstinence-only advocate.
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 04:49 PM by IanDB1
Oh, wait.

She is.

Well, at least she didn't offer her daughter the opportunity to get an abortion.

Oh, wait.

She did.

Well, at least she didn't know her unwed teen daughter was five months pregnant before she accepted the high-profile VP nomination that would drag her poor daughter into an international media spotlight.

Oh, wait.

She did.

See?

It's all Chris Matthew's fault.

11. Oh, and at least she didn't trick the kids into going to Ohio
Oh wait,

She did.

It's not Chris Matthew's fault that the Palins decided to out their teen daughter in the international spotlight WITHOUT asking her or her siblings how they felt about this.

What's next?

Is Sarah Palin going to release all Bristol's medical records and the notes from her meetings with the school psychologist?

Baby pictures of her peeing on herself in the bath tub?

What more awful things will Sarah Palin do to her poor daughter?

7. I haven't seen anyone attack Bristol Palin
all I've heard is that she is pregnant. I heard Hannity on the radio going on about the left attacking her as well as your post. There are many lies spoken about Obama by the right and they are angry because the left said what the McCain spokesman said - she is pregnant.

12. It's not Bristol's fault that her mommy didn't want her to learn about condoms...
... and that her mommy thinks that abstinence-only education will work just as well with the rest of America's children.

I mean, Bristol has an irresponsible unfit mother who dragged her into an international media spotlight and tried to murder her own special-needs child. I honestly feel sorry for Bristol, and for any other child who has fallen prey to the GOP's anti-reality birth control crusade.

9. Dude, you might want to consider thinking before hitting that post button.
Most of us do and it really helps things flow better. If you're incapable of thinking, as your other posts suggest, then I'm truly sorry.

2. I hope you like saliva.
I wish he'd just shut up after asking a question. He likes the sound of his own voice, which makes him a poor choice for his profession.

I'd like to believe he's converted, but I guess we'll see how it goes between now and November.

5. I have theories, but I'm going to withhold judgment for now so I don't jinx it.
Maybe every time Chris Matthews says something sexist, or kisses a Republican's ass, Rachel and Keith turn the knob on a Tens Unit attached to Chris' testicles.

It would explain that strange "laugh" he does.

14. He's an entertainer and he sees which way the wind is blowing now.
Confusing these hacks with reporters is part of the grand illusion, people are falling away from the neocon lies so he's a Democrat, for now.

15. Hear, hear
MSNBC's power base is with Olbermann now (and very soon with Maddow when her new show starts). Poor old passed-over Tweety has to ride with the tide and go with the flow...but a leopard can't change his spots, he can only camouflage them.

Meanwhile, let's hope they replace David Gregory with Marc Maron.

18. He is probably SCARED SHITLESS of Olbermann, so he is trying to sound progressive, too.
Job security ultimately is dependent upon profitability. Keith Olbermann is where the money is at for MSNBC. He gets more viewers than Matthews now, and Matthews is scared of being overshadowed and left at the wayside.

19. I don't know, but I remember at one point, Matthews said that he?
MSNBC? was pressured by the WH about his reporting.

DU, help me out. I never watch him, so I am uncertain what it was about.

23. Another story of Doomed Love
How does Tweety, time after time, get otherwise sensible folks to fall for him? Oh to have but a fraction of his seductive powers.

"Maybe it'll be different this time..."

A bit of advice: Tomorrow or the next day, when he "turns" again, go easy on yourself. Don't waste too much energy on bitter recriminations and what-ifs.

You're only human after all. This thing is bigger than the both of you.
