in the middle of a hurricane, no less -- that his daughter (if she was older, hypothetical here) was pregnant, DHS would have issued a security alert and locked down the airports! I don't think Faux News would have even cut to commercial break, and Gustav would have bashed into the Gulf Coast with nary a mention due to Obama pregnant daughter coverage.
My God, the pass the Reichwing media (and their sycophantic pundits) has given Puke Palin shocks the senses.

1. One thing I have not heard anyone ask
is if the KID wants to have the baby and get married. WE all know the mother is forcing her to do both but (big surprise) the MSM has not asked if the KID agrees with the mother's beliefs. I know when i was 17 i did not think my mom had all the right answers (turns out most were but still......)

2. Ah, don't the weenie Republicans wish.......
If only they could find dirt on Obama, wouldn't they be in pig heaven? Alas, he's led a life of simple accomplishment, with no scandal at all. The man's honorable and honest and loyal, traits that Republicans eschew in favor of raw power and rumormongering.

With all this talk about how unfair it is to bring up Palin's unfortunate family situation, I am reminded of John McCain's eagerness to tell a particularly ugly joke about young Chelsea Clinton when she was just a kid, living in the White House with her parents. He really showed himself for the disgusting old man that he truly is when he did that.

But now his party is championing hands-off where a candidate's family is concerned? Weenies, ugly, transparent weenies, that's all they are. And McCain is their - no, really - Great White Leader.

3. Well, considering his oldest daughter is 10...
I bet the press WOULD be making a bigger deal about it.

4. I meant, if she was older. I'll edit my original post.
Thank you for making the point.
